History in Civil Rights Movement

America is home to many of today's history curriculum topics – the roaring 20s, the great depression of the 30's, as well as the civil rights movement of the 40's and 50's. Students can explore some of the most stirring chapters in American history by visiting many iconic sites across the country.

The civil rights movement was a period of tremendous hope and optimism, as well as a time of great crisis and confrontation; it compelled the whole of America to face its history of racial injustice. The civil rights trail covers many states of the USA in which we focus on the places where pioneers of the civil rights movements fought for freedom.
