Netball in Gibraltar
Gibraltar is situated in a unique location; it shares its northern border with Spain and is just a short journey from Africa. you may have heard this country referred to as 'The Rock'.
Gibraltar is one of the few European countries to bring your team to where you will compete against a varying standard of opposition. Netball has become the leading ladies sport with a hugely successful junior league and as a result, provides competitive opposition. Matches can be played at the multipurpose, grand Victoria Stadium Sports Centre, home to the country's national football team and as a British overseas territory, the language barrier won’t be a problem!
When not playing fixtures, your group can explore the country which offers a variety of experiences and site seeing opportunities – from the beautiful, sandy beaches of the Catalan Bay, to taking a boat from the harbour to go dolphin watching. Visiting St Michael’s Cave will be an experience you will never forget, as not only will you see the impressive stalagmites and stalactites, but the world famous Barbary apes!
