Netball in South Africa
South Africa is the perfect destination for your tour, thoroughly enjoyed by all who visit. Sport is treasured throughout the country; netball is an incredibly popular sport for women and girls and you will not be short of local coaches for training sessions. The country has a multitude of benefits: the minimal time difference (therefore hopefully no jetlag), no language difficulties (as English is spoken widely throughout), the cost of living, and along with the excellent sporting facilities it makes it an ideal touring destination for everyone.
Within the space of a day, you can travel from the historic Victoria and Albert Waterfront in Cape Town to isolated Zulu villages; or from wildlife safaris in Kruger National Park to the beautiful seascapes along the coast. Visit a local township where you can get involved with local community projects, before you drive the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth, stopping en route to feed the ostriches at Oudtshoorn. A visit to the sites of Cape Town is a must; appreciate the stunning views atop Table Mountain, and take a trip to the historic Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was famously held captive.
