The Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise hotel is a great place to base yourself for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Everything you could want from a holiday is right on your doorstep and getting to most of the games venues is simple, particularly if you’re heading off to the Gold Coast Convention Centre (Basketball and Netball) or Broadbeach Bowls Club (Lawn Bowls) which are both within a short walking distance. The Carrara Stadium (Opening and Closing Ceremony and Athletics) and the Carrara Leisure Centre (Badminton, Para Powerlifting, Weightlifting, Wrestling) are an 18 minute drive away. Spectators will have free access to event transport as part of their Commonwealth Games ticket via bus or tram – the tram station is right outside the hotel door and will take you up and down the coastline.

The staff are customer service focused and are available to help with anything you may require during your stay via their 24 hour reception desk. Guests have access to the following facilities at the hotel:

Food & Drink
There are some great options within the hotel if you’re looking for a place to eat – be it something fancy or whilst lounging by the pool.
Four Winds 360° – want a restaurant with a view? Located on the hotel’s 26th floor, you’ll not only experience great views from above but as the restaurant rotates you can enjoy views of the entire city and coastline for as far as the eye can see. This restaurant offers a Seafood and Australian fusion buffet and a high tea option complete with a hot beverage and glass of sparkling wine. Come here for lunch or dinner.
Sifu – Indulge in Cantonese and Schezuan cuisine in this sleek and modern Chinese restaurant. Choose from a menu where you’re spoilt for choice on dishes made with local produce and the freshest quality seafood. Come here for dinner Tuesday to Saturday.
Relish Bar & Grill – located pool side at the hotel, this restaurant is open all day long offering a breakfast buffet, A la Carte lunch and a set or A la Carte dinner menu which offers a typical bar/grill style menu with plenty of choice. It’s a convenient spot at any time of the day, even if you just want to grab a coffee and read a book here.
