BAFTA albert highlights those companies working in film and TV that see green practices as a core part of their operations. By being accepted to albert’s approved supplier list, we have been recognised for our commitment to a better future.

The leading screen industry organisation for environmental sustainability, albert was founded in 2011 to work with the film and TV industry to reduce the environmental impacts of production and support opportunities for effective climate action on and off screen. The industry-backed organisation is a driving force behind the actions that the film and TV industry can take to create a sustainable society, and offers tools and training, events, and practical guidance to screen industry professionals.

For over 45 years, Travel Places has managed the travel and logistical requirements of media and production crews, getting them to sporting and global events across the world – from Olympic Games to FIFA World Cups. We are incredibly proud that many of the companies who booked with us when we started out, still use our services today. And although our commitment to service hasn’t changed, we have adapted and evolved alongside the needs of our clients who have an increased desire to travel responsibly.

We accept the impact that travel and events programmes can have on our resources, society and the environment. But we also strongly believe that the events our clients work on can be a powerful force for good. We embrace our responsibility to facilitate more responsible movements for our clients, and becoming an albert-approved supplier highlights our commitment to achieving that for our media and production clients.

Our sustainability credentials

We are proud to be leading the way in responsible business travel. We are one of only two business travel companies in the world to have gained B-Corp status – having met rigorous standards of accountability on our social and environmental performance. In addition to our own sustainability credentials, we can also provide our clients with practical support.

We understand that collaboration is key to increasing our positive impact on the world, and having implemented ISO:20121 system for Sustainable Event Management, we are helping our clients meet their travel needs of today without compromising those of future generations. Working closely with our global network of suppliers, we can advise and report on the most sustainable options for our clients’ group or event, helping to balance business requirements against impact, and supporting them to achieve ambitious goals.
