Working at Travel Places

There are very few places that are as exciting as ours to work. In just one day, our teams could be researching flights for Formula 1 clients, arranging accommodation for a Premier League football club, or booking last minute transfers for a well-known musician and their band. Supporting our travel bookers to achieve all this, we have a valuable crew of support teams - from marketing, IT, accounts and HR.

Develop your career

We are passionate about the individual growth of our people and provide excellent opportunities for training and development, with an extensive in-house programme. Once fully trained, many of our staff have opportunities to travel and support exciting events in the UK and overseas. Whether you are a travel or event specialist looking for a new challenge, currently working in another industry and looking for a complete career change, or a college or University graduate taking the first steps in your career, we provide development and opportunities throughout your career with us.

Celebrate success

Our business has been built on mutual respect and genuine friendships. Family-run to this day, we are an inclusive team that loves to have fun together, to do good, or celebrate our successes. Our Travel Places social committee organises a full programme of events throughout the year. From bowling to beach volleyball, and treasure hunts to beach cleans, we offer a range of social activities that provide something for everyone, helping our teams to get to know each other and forging lifelong friendships.

Our staff benefits

We believe in providing a working environment that allows our people to grow, both professionally and personally, and makes them feel involved and valued.

We take the health and happiness of our employees seriously and we are always evaluating new ways to ensure Travel Places is an amazing place to work. Alongside standard benefits, we organise wellbeing campaigns that support our staff to look after their mental and physical wellbeing, organise fundraising events, offer time off for volunteering or sustainability initiatives, and run a calendar of social activities that help us to spend quality time together outside of work. Our range of benefits include:

  • Wellbeing campaigns.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Competitive salaries.
  • A fair, living wage for all.
  • Company incentive scheme.
  • Staff socials.
  • Travel discounts.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Group personal pension scheme.
  • Hybrid office / home working.
  • Long service awards.

We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their gender, race, colour, disability, identity, neurodiversity, age, nationality, union affiliation, and religion.

Our accreditation highlights our commitment to pay all of our staff a wage that meets everyday needs, such as the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist.
