Travel Places Joins the BAFTA Albert Suppliers Directory
We’re incredibly proud to share that Travel Places has been officially listed in the newly launched BAFTA albert Suppliers Directory, a major step forward in our journey to support sustainable travel in the media production industry.
Launched in February 2025, the BAFTA albert Suppliers Directory is designed to help TV and film productions easily identify and work with trusted, vetted suppliers that are genuinely committed to sustainability. From catering to construction, the list helps producers make informed, eco-conscious choices.
And getting onto this list? It’s no small feat.
The new supplier directory isn’t just a directory update; albert ensures the supplier auditing process is rigorous.
A Stringent Vetting Procedure
To be included, we had to go through a strict and independently assessed vetting process. albert’s approach means suppliers are not simply self-declared as “green.”
Instead, we were evaluated against industry-specific sustainability criteria tailored to the media and travel sector. For travel management companies like us, that meant demonstrating how we reduce carbon emissions, manage fuel usage, and support clients in making lower-impact travel choices.
We also had to provide transparent data, not just promises. This included metrics on fuel consumption, carbon reporting, and the policies we have in place to help productions track and reduce their environmental footprint.
It’s a level of accountability that raises the bar for everyone involved, and we’re proud to have met it.
